SEEK, Haiti board members have been working on this project (slowly but surely) for a few years now – and we are so excited to bring this project to you. We hope that this new platform will help you engage more often in the work being done in Thomassique, Haiti – at Sarepta Orphanage, at Forde Christian Academy, and at the church.

For those unfamiliar with Patreon: this is a monthly subscription donation that will create a more engaging way to keep up with the goings-on in Haiti. As you send your monthly donation, we will return the favor with helpful facts about Haiti’s history and culture, recipes from the locals, and prayers from the hearts of fellow Brothers and Sisters in Christ in the Caribbean. We want you to know more about the people you’re blessing, and about the land they live in! Consistent funding is crucial for the school, church, and orphanage to succeed, and we thank you for coming alongside us to help fund these communities which touch so many lives.

Each of the seven ‘tiers’ will include any gift from a tier below it as well, so you’re never missing out! Our tiers begin at $1 USD per month, so you can support SEEK as a Prayer Partner and help us cover some of the costs of keeping our Patreon and our website up and running. The Prayer Partner Tier also gives you access to the most up-to-date posts and newsletters about activity in Haiti, both from SEEK and from the country as a whole. Prayers are the most powerful form of support you can ever give, and we thank you for this support in all of our tiers.

Patreon is designed to be used monthly, and we want to engage with you monthly. For example, if you sign up for the sixth ‘Family’ tier at $100 per month, we want to thank you by sending you a recipe from Haiti every month via email! By engaging with us at this level, we will also send you a song or prayer from the fifth tier, ‘Cousin,’ a proverb from Haitian culture from the fourth tier, ‘Friend,’ a fun fact about the country from the third tier, ‘Neighbor,’ and a photo from Haiti, sometimes from the Forde Christian Academy itself, from the second tier, ‘Supporter.’

We have built each of the tiers of this Patreon platform to (loosely) coincide with typical expenses in the mission work in Haiti. While we cannot guarantee that each dollar you send will always be spent on that particular area, we assure you that every dollar is always sent where most needed – and we pray that God will reveal that need to us.
